Each Sommerwerk timepiece is a unique item that has been individually crafted. The body and buckle are made from high-grade stainless steel and are manually stitched onto the wristband in a small factory in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. The seam that results not only gives the watch its distinct appearance but also eases the telling of time.

The materials used for the wristband are manifold and will acquire a patina after a while — eventually telling the particular story of every watch.
